Thursday Night Cook Needed

Last fall we were desperate for a Thursday night cook. One afternoon, Grandma Jo rang the door bell and said, "I love to cook. I had a big family and now I don't have anyone to cook for". Turkey tetrazzini, cherry oatmeal cookies, Navajo tacos and a top favorite - melt-in-your-mouth streusel cake. Joellen came to us after seeing our volunteer need in her church bulletin.

Mid May we had to say, "good-bye" to our faithful "Grandma Jo" as she and her husband moved to Idaho to be closer to their grandchildren. We still have a Thursday evening opening... do you know our next "Grandma Jo"? if so, please call Marta for further details. 374-4902
