Since 1998, Safe Harbor Support Center has cared for thousands of children in the Tri-Cities, providing support when it was needed most for more than 2,000 families.
In early 2001, Safe Harbor began construction on a new facility in Kennewick. We opened the doors to the new nursery on November 8th, 2001. The new facility is over 5,000 square feet and can accommodate 21 children during the day. We are overjoyed that we can now help more children than ever before. During the thirteen years we’ve been in business, our organization has received a variety recognition. In 2004, we were honored to receive the State Social Work Agency of the Year award from the Washington chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.
